  This is a large collection of Linux internet documents, and some lecture notes that were prepared for the telematics and networking workshop held in the African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI), Nairobi, Kenya, August 9-20, 1999. This workshop is to be continued by a similar workshop to be held at the Netanya Academic College in Israel during November 16-30.

SOFTWARE

• Tkpaint: a drawing tool for win95/NT/Linux. Good for drawing figures, slides, etc.
• Tkps: a graphical user interface to the Unix ps command.
• A TeX (Hebrew) Package to produce a nice looking Hebrew-Gregorian Calendar for any year and month. The calendar includes all the Jewish holydays.
• I have also created a simple bold Hebrew font called Carmel. It is available both in PostScript and MetaFont. Or, alternatively, you can check this site .
• A www Unix manual pages browser
