About Pre-Academic Preparatory Studies

The characteristics of the Preparatory Classes

The pre-academic Preparatory Classes of Netanya Academic College are operating with affinity to the Bachelor degree programs. The Preparatory Classes were established by the College as a result of recognizing the social importance of expanding the base for higher education in general and the willingness to give an opportunity to receive higher education to populations that deserve promotion in particular. We see in the students of the Preparatory Classes an important reserve for professionals who have an academic degree in Israel. The Preparatory Classes operate under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education and in collaboration with the Foundation for “Hayalim Meshuchrarim” (Soldiers who finished their mandatory service).

The structure of the studies

The Preparatory Classes operate in two programs:

The path to Matriculation Certificate – studies for completing or improving the grades of the subjects in the Matriculation examinations in the various tracks of study.
The Path for Purpose – Study tracks in Sociology or Economics (not for Matriculation Certificate).
The studies in the preparatory programs are performed by semester or by integrated annual program and each student can, according to their individual needs, study for either one semester or five semesters.
The admission for the Preparatory Classes continues throughout the year.

Dates of operation

September 01, 2012 - The September Semester – A combined track for annual / semeterial courses: Studies will be performed in preparation for the Matriculation Examinations for either the winter and / or summer terms and also for the examination for The Path for Purpose.

A unique advantage

Graduates of Netanya Academic College Preparatory Classes, which will later enroll to the academic studies at the college, will be able to submit the results of the exams performed in the Summer Term, on September. The College is committed to wait for the results of the Matriculation examinations, and give preference to the graduates of the Preparatory Classes. This right is reserved for the students of the preparatory courses of Netanya Academic College only.
The Preparatory Classes graduates who will participate in the full program, and will continue to the academic studies at the College will be entitled for “continuing student scholarship” for the total sum of: 2,500 NIS in each academic year
