The Netanya Academic College School of Banking is the only institution in Israel to provide a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance, and is approved of the Council for Higher Education in Israel. The program is headed by Prof. Ben-Zion Zilberfarb, former Director General of the Finance Ministry.
Finance and Banking play a central role in any modern market. In recent years, extraordinary development has obtained in these fields, requiring the employment of high quality personnel, comprehensively trained in the tools and financial skills required in today's modern banking industry. This unique course of study instills the knowledge required to successfully deal with, and overcome, any professional challenges they may face in the Banking & Capital Markets.
This marks the second year of "Project Excellence" – an external project within the framework of the curriculum. As part of the project, six of the biggest Israeli banks absorb outstanding students for their final project, scholarship included, with excelling students even receiving permanent employment. Participating banks include Bank Leumi, Bank Hapoalim, First International Bank of Israel, United Mizrahi Bank, Bank Massad and Bank of Jerusalem.
The school's academic staff includes experts in the field of study and lecturers who have accumulated practical experience at the Bank of Israel and other large institutes in the Israeli Capital Markets.
Graduates of the program are well suitable for a wide variety of important roles at banks, financial institutions and corporate entities.
