The Law School at Netanya Academic College was established in 1995. Since then, it has produced more than 3,000 graduates who have paved their way into the most coveted positions in the best law firms in the economy, some serving as judges in various courts in Israel. In addition, over the years, several graduates received a doctorate in law and serve as senior law lecturers at different Israeli institutions of higher education.
The Law School also emphasizes practicality by having the best lawyers in the field teach at the school's class of excellence. The topics of legal practice are studied in-depth and include, for example, a strategy of conducting a trial or how to conduct a cross-examination. The curriculum also includes many legal "clinics" that provide students with work experience while still in school.
The practical philosophy of the legal world makes it easier for students to integrate into work at the end of their studies. Students are required to study three concentrated days a week so that they may make a living during their studies.
To ensure the highest level of law studies, the Law School at Netanya Academic College is headed by Prof. Hadara Bar-Mor who holds a J.S.D. from Tel-Aviv University and a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from Tel-Aviv University and is an expert in the field of corporate law, employment and labor law.
Since the school’s establishment around 80% of the graduates have successfully passed the bar exam.
The school’s magazine, “Mozney Mishpat” is run by the school’s apt students and is widely acclaimed in the field. The journal advertises articles by the best academic lawyers in Israel as well as by top-notch faculty members and Israeli professors and lecturers. Being part of the journal’s editorial board is an important and fascinating opportunity that enables students to express their opinion on academic papers sent to the magazine by judges and lawyers.
