The undergraduate program in insurance of the Netanya Academic College, which combines specialization in the stock market, insurance, risk management and mortgage taxes, is the only one of its kind in Israel.

The program includes insurance and stock market studies, law, business, finance, and infrastructure studies and that are adapted to all changes and reforms in the insurance business.

The program includes a variety of practical experiences that illustrate the study material, including – trading simulations and managing investment portfolios in a trading room, creating and filling insurance forms and policies, constructing pension portfolios, developing marketing and sales techniques, touring investment firms and securities exchanges and a variety of conventions, courses and lectures that will allow you to hone your practice. This is in addition to cooperation with insurance companies and employment agencies for guidance.

The program's classes take place in the evenings, allowing the students to gain practical experience in combination with their studies. The study outline is particularly convenient for employees of insurance agencies and investment firms, as classes take place three days a week.

Starting in the 2022 school year – the study outline will be even more convenient and will last six consecutive semesters!

The undergraduate program in insurance prepares its graduates for management positions in leading companies in the various insurance fields, among them – risk management in the stock and pension markets, funds management, pension insurance, health insurance and long-term care insurance.

The program prepares students for the Ministry of Finance and the Securities Authority exams, which they will have to take to obtain a marketing/consulting license – one of the most sought-after licenses in the Israeli market today. In addition, graduates enjoy a full exemption from four exams required by the Securities Authority and the Ministry of Finance to obtain this license.

Full and ongoing adjustment with up-to-date regulations and legislations

During the program, a great emphasis is placed on a combining studies and practice while keeping a close connection with the world insurance and finance, and complying with current regulation and legislation. This includes guest lecturers, practice workshops, conferences and more.

The program is adapted to all changes and reforms in the insurance business, so that graduates will receive a bachelor's degree in insurance and training for external exams. Students will acquire a professional and up-to-date education that allows them to find positions in insurance companies, banks, finance companies, credit card companies, pension funds, risk management companies, appraisals, banking and more.
