M.A. in Communication

In the last two decades, the world has witnessed a significantly change in media consumption. The pace is faster, sharper and more dynamic, and there is an urgent need to adapt the way we consume, produce and transmit media.

The master's degree program in communications at the Netanya Academic College holds a variety of courses to widen the critical understanding and consumption of media, along with practical workshops that provide training in online media, podcast, performance in front of a camera and more.

Her research focuses on the representation of social groups (women, Palestinian citizens, the elderly) and values (Americanization, patriotism, identity National) in diverse media texts.

Has extensive experience in academic leadership and a combination of teaching, social research and practical application in the fields of communication and education.

About the program:

The Netanya Academic College's program is first-rate and innovative for a master's degree in communications.

Along with leading courses in critical understanding of media, we hold workshops that train students for mass media production (radio and television) in the most advanced studios in the Israeli academia. We also hold workshops in interpersonal communication, performing in front of a crowd and the media. Students will benefit from practical experience and train in producing educational and propaganda videos, and interdisciplinary creative thinking.  The workshops encourage personal development and give the student access to the most up to date technological innovations.

In addition, students will meet with high-ranking figures in the world of media, journalists, publicists and more in order expose them to the business and give them the tools to maneuver the field.

The program also give the students an opportunity to acquire a certification as a panel moderator.

The program offers a special course for teachers and educators of different kinds, out of a belief that communications is a worthy and important supplemental degree for educators who have practical experience in the pedagogical world, and that it adds value ​​and meaning to the education of young people in the theoretical and practical understanding of this world.

The degree is recognized by the Ministry of Education and entitles to a tuition refund for those eligible and provides hours for promotion (according to the ministry's criteria).
