During their studies, students practically develop software on each of the four leading operating systems in the Israeli and global high-tech industry: Linux / Unix, ms-Windows, Apple IOS, and Android.
As a final project, each student participates in a group project alongside two other students and under the personal guidance of one of the senior faculty members. Each group carries out a large-scale software project on a topic of their choice that include the preliminary initiation stage, coding, distribution, and documentation.
In addition to the traditional courses, the School of Computer Science and Mathematics has been offering students the opportunity to enroll in two unique courses on cyber issues that will help prepare graduates for the complex world of cyber security: cybersecurity data networks and cybersecurity computers.
A bachelor's degree in computer science can be obtained if you have:
Average matriculation 90 or higher in 4 units
Averages over 65 in 5 lbs
Practical diploma on average 80
Those who have passed a special preparatory course (in college) with an average of 83 or higher and a grade of 85 or higher in a mathematics course at the preparatory school.
Candidates for a three-year program who do not have 5 units of mathematics with a grade of 80 or higher must attend a preparation course in the summer, or pass an exemption exam with a grade of 70+.
Applicants with close data will be admitted to a three-year track, on probation, as decided by the Dean.
The college also offers a four-year track, meaning the degree is done in four years.
Candidates with a matriculation certificate or graduates of a 30+ preparatory course (at the college) are accepted for this track.
