The Netanya Academic College's Master of studies in law is a unique program designed to provide undergraduates in social sciences, humanities, business administration, accounting, and finance with advanced legal education and a basic degree (M.A.) in law studies.

The curriculum is designed according to the requirements of the board for higher education and concerning the new trends in Israel and around the world.

About the program

In the new era, legal education has become necessary due to the close connection between citizens and the government, and due to the increased formal regulation of many business and civic activities. These changes require legal understanding and expertise.

Today, managers of every level are required to have a basic understanding of the law. Many personal and business actions are subjective to regulation, which emphasizes the need for close recognition of the law. In addition, the legal approach allows holders of degrees in the social sciences, humanities, finance, and accounting to develop multidisciplinary observation and expertise both in their areas of practice and in their personal lives.

The college offers students two tracks for acquiring a master's degree–

Master of studies in law M.A. for business, finance, and accounting graduates

Master of studies in law M.A. for Humanities and Social Sciences graduates.

The master's degree program is unique and provides, in addition to legal knowledge a broad understanding and overall business vision. Alongside theoretical content, there is an emphasis on practical aspects following the trends that dominate the legal fields. The knowledge acquired in the program can assist in many areas and thus provide an important advantage when seeking employment.

Graduate studies in law begin after acquiring a basic legal education, which is taught in the first semester at a level corresponding to undergraduate law programs.

To clarify – this degree does not allow for the practice of law.
